We had a foreign exchange student from Chegdu this last year. It was so tens


e waiting to hear from her, which we finally did. She is only 17 but is volu


nteering at the hospital her mom works at. She has even sat and helped docto


rs during operations. She quoted a Chinese saying that when she translated i


t said "There is no love in disaster, but we have love in humans heart." The


y truly do. I have been so impressed by the people and the manner in which t


hey have handled it. Prayers and thoughts are with all of them! less

I hope people from outside China can clear up some steorotype impressions ab
